Nice scene, might I suggest:
On the background scene your concrete should have a much higher bump with less shine. Not sure about vue but if you have an option on adding a texture overlay with fractal noise it would give the scene textures a dirty/grimy look.

On the lighting, adding a soft indirect light/ambient occlusion with a slightly blue tint would give the atmosphere more of a night time looking effect. Because you are using a spot light I recommend increasing your range of angle falloff and enable soft shadows with an increased shadow bias to give the image more depth. This will also add to the ambient occlusion and create a more realistic night time atmosphere.

As for the fur on the coat, I find it makes texture based hair/fur look more real if you set a light translucency 5% to the texture and use the same texture on its self as an overlay with a 50% opacity set to the overlayed texture. Also be sure to increase the bump on the hair / fur significantly so that the hair that is bumped to catch light will be more prominent over the underlayed 5% translucent texture. (Doing this increases render time but the result is good)

There is a trick to doing textured hair with sub-surface scattering but I am still learning how to do that.

Jay made some wonderful suggestions - I would love to see this re-worked..... and my personal opinion would be to not have the hair cast shadows on her face.
nice job
