hey, no probs! you really are getting much better with vue, and it'd be a shame if you quit now. if each one is getting better like this, imagine what they would look like in a few weeks time or a few months.

my advice
your trying to jump to far ahead before you learn the steps
take your time if you try to do what others do you will get quite frustrated
read Vue from the ground up posted on top
take the time to learn each tool start simple Crow
water is not easy
do a simple scene first
i see your improving but you can not get better if you do not know the basics.
that is my two cents worth

Aye this is your biggest jump in quality yet ...they really are getting much better!

As Sagenoel says ..grab yourself that tut i uploaded. I actually uploaded it with you in mind as i thought you could make good use of it. I read a bit on how best to use the brush tool for ecosystems myself earlier which helped clear a lot of things for me. But yeah ..it really is slow going getting to grips with vue, so just stick with it and you'll naturally get better with time.

But really, you've improved so much from your first render so keep up the good work and i look forward to seeing more.

BTW ..have you been using the brush tool or have you been automatically populating your ecosystems? I find that its easiest to automatically populate and then touch up with the brush tool if needed. I guess it all depends on how big the scene is really, small scenes can be easily painted manually which allows much more control, but large scenes would take forever to paint manually so i guess automatic is the best option for large scenes.
