Hello all, I was wondering if anyone here might have a simple way to remove those pesky holes that plague many Poser artists early on in their journeys? I can't seem to get the holes to stop appearing as my character switches from pose to pose.I have posted a pic of what I mean below, in case someone wants to get an idea. (I'm putting together a comic for a friend and this is her in a lab chair and used a V3 pose) Now, most times I use the correct pose for the proper figure (ie V4) but sometimes I see a pose for say V3 and apply that. Is that a no-no or should that not be the reason why holes appear? If anyone can help me, I'll forever be grateful. Smile Thanks! Mercblue31 ![]() |

Probably the easiest way to fix this would be to simply hide parts of the thigh. Another way would be to scale the limbs, I can't say which axis to use since I'm horrible with that sort of things, but scaling the limbs down will often take care of troubles with poke-thru. All else fails, you could create a custom magnet or d-former for the clothing or the thighs, but that's much more complicated than either of the other fixes. |

Hello Ih7, Thanks for the response and suggestions. I will give them a try as making the body part invisible works well, but not much for characters who show skin and have a part seeping though. I have heard magnetize poses for V4 fix the problem as well so I'll give that a try too if all else fails. Thanks again for your help. I really appreciate it! Merc |

If you use Poser 7 or 8, use the morphing tool it's easier ! hXXp://forum.daz3d.com/viewtopic.php?p=1773363&highlight=#1773363 hXXp://my.smithmicro.com/tutorials/2092.html :) Enjoy Message was edited by WuTeVa - 16 March 2010 10:31 |

The morphing tool is your answer and always magnetize your clothes before you pose |

Aye with close fitting clothes always make sure theyre magnetised to your figure before posing. If you still get large poke through's like you have in your pic, I'd say the best fix is to use magnets. Best tut for magnets that i've seen is this. http://www.aerysoul.com/board/showthread.php?t=357 With smaller poke through's the morph tool is usually enough to get the job done -------------------- Reality is what you trip over when your eyes are closed. |
