Rules of the ChatBox

Be Respectful. No compromises. No exceptions. It's the number one rule

Anyone breaking these rules will be given ONE warning before a ban is handed out.
Take the time to read these rules over and understand them because ignorance of
the rules is no excuse!!

No Bashing.
This goes along with "Be Respectful". This means:

* No bashing people. (This includes any single person and or group/race of people)
* No bashing other sites. (If you don't like the site, then why mention it?)


No Mod Bashing.

Yes, this gets a separate point. Mod-bashing of any kind is inexcusable.
If you find yourself in a position where you feel you are being mistreated by a mod
then report it to administrators.
Mod-bashing, even slight mod-bashing, will result in an immediate ban.
Also, sending PMs, Emails, or Instant Messages to a mod, flaming them or bashing them,will also result in the same repercussions.
Just because you are not in CB,
does not excuse your actions in anyway.
This behavior is intolerable.
Mods put in an enormous amount of effort into keeping the ChatBox appropriate, full of respect and running smoothly.

Issue and Problem Resolution

* Problems with Mods.
If you have an issue in the ChatBox with mods, DO NOT complain to another mod.
If you encounter a problem pertaining a mod feel free to contact an Administrator
No Mini-Modding
Unless you are a moderator don't go around acting like a mod.
It's fine to remind someone about the rules, but don't be overly aggressive about it.
That's why we have mods here; it's their "job".

If someone is breaking the rules, then report them instead of taking things in your own hands.

Personal Issues.
Seriously, no talking about personal issues on the ChatBox.
That includes responding to something someone else said or egging them on in an action.
Sometimes things get out of hand and certain situations arise that become too difficult for the rest of us to handle.

Keep real life away from the internet!
Or just go to a forum where they talk about personal issues and offer advice.

Administrators have made it a point to make this site as family friendly as possible.

This also means there is to be no talk of rape, implied rape, drugs, or implied drug use.
No overtly sexual pics, no string of expletives.

If you can't articulate without cursing you should rethink your vocabulary.
Please don't try getting around the word filter in place by using alternate or
foreign language characters, either.

Be mature about what you are submitting.


What you must NOT do :


* Advertising another forum
Permanent ban from the CB.
* Advertising a website (Giving a link without a good reason is not allowed)
Ban from the ChatBox,
* Threats
Permanent ban from the CB, and member warned, or banned from the site depending on the severity of the charges

* Support (asked directly or link given to a topic of the support forum)
* NO requests in Chat Box: we have a forum for that
Warning, and if committed again ban from the ChatBox
* Use of SMS language
Ban from the CB in case of abuse
will not tolerate swearing or abusive language!
So please refrain from posting any!
Name calling is strictly prohibited
Don't use bad language
Chat Box is in the main page you are
posting on, it's in clear view of all users.


* Flood
Ban from the CB in case of abuse

* Don't spam the chatbox.
Spamming includes posting excessive amounts of smilies,
excessive amounts of pictures or simply posting over and over again
when the chatbox is inactive, among other things
- You might get a warning or banned for a day.

* Links leading to virus infected programs will result in an immediate ban.
* Use English.
Since the forum itself is in English.
and it's best for everyone to understand you.
* Don't post inappropriate stuff.
- Find any stuff that's inappropriate should be
report to a mod about the issue.

* If you ask a question in the Chat Box and no one responded
ask in the forum


The Chat Box is for the whole community to use
If you find a conversation uninteresting then don't post rather than trying to interrupt the conversation with comments such as
"this is boring" to get attention.

Like wise do not post annoying things just to get attention
(this also counts as spam). Anyone caught causing annoyance to other members will
be issued a warning and possible banned

We accept most topics for discussion on this site, but three topics that will not be permitted under any circumstance are Politics, Religion, and Porn.
